Pantheon

Every week the players of a world set their Appearance busts against one another, and the five with the most votes stay in the Pantheon for good.

What it is for

The Pantheon belongs to one world: only players of the same world see each other's busts and vote on them. It is the Pantheon tab in the top bar, next to Ranking. What competes is the ruler portrait you had drawn with Seals; on this page it is called a bust.

The Pantheon earns honour and nothing else. It gives no resources, strength or happiness and changes nothing in the game. Votes cannot be bought and Seals do not raise your votes; Seals only pay for the drawing of the bust.

The week

A week starts at midnight UTC on Monday and closes at the same hour the next Monday, which is 03:00 in Turkey. The top right of the page says how long is left; when you send a bust, the closing moment is shown in your own time.

When the week closes the votes become final, the top five busts are written into the Hall of the Immortals and a new week begins by itself. If the week turns while the page is open, the page shows the new week and names last week's Pantheon Laurel in a strip.

Sending a bust

Press Send a bust. In the window you choose one of your Appearances; the one selected first is the one you wear now. You may write a title and a description, look at the bust as others will see it, and send. If you have no Appearance, the window takes you to the Seal workshop.

A player sends one bust a week. To send another Appearance, withdraw the current one first. Everybody reads the title and the description; both are held to the chat rules, and a text that breaks them is not sent but returned for you to change. You can edit the words until the week ends; the votes your bust has stay where they are.

If you withdraw it, your bust leaves the list and its votes go back to the voters. You can send it again before the week ends, but the votes do not return.

Voting

You have five votes each week; the vote box at the top of the page shows how many are left. You give one vote to a bust. You cannot vote for your own bust.

While the week is open you can take a vote back and give it to another bust. The game works out the votes and the order; the order can change until the week closes. When votes are equal, the bust that reached them earlier goes ahead.

The podium and the gallery

The top five busts stand on the podium: first in the middle, second and third beside it, fourth and fifth at the ends. On a phone the steps go and the order stays. The busts after the fifth are laid out below in the gallery, which you can sort by most votes or by newest. A card names only the sender, never their city. Press a card or a bust to open the bust window: the large bust, its description, the sender's name and the vote button.

Hall of the Immortals

When the week closes, the top five busts that received votes are written down for good. The first receives the Pantheon Laurel; the second to the fifth become the Pantheon's Chosen. A bust that received no vote does not place.

The Hall of the Immortals keeps every closed week of this world. The bust of a player whose account was deleted or suspended does not show in the Hall, and neither does a portrait an operator hid.

The Hall's filters

On the profile

A player who has been in the top five at least once has a Pantheon section on their public page: how many times they took the Laurel, how many times they placed in the top five, the votes those busts held when their week closed, their best place and the busts themselves. A player who never placed has no such section on their page for others; on your own page you see a line that says how to begin.

Reporting

With Report in the bust window you report somebody else's bust and choose the reason: indecent, hateful, a real person, the title or description, or something else. A report hides nothing by itself; a person looks at it. If an operator hides the portrait, the bust drops out of the ranking, its votes go back to the voters and it leaves the Hall as well.

News

If your bust is in the top five when the week closes, a line falls into Events, and a notification comes if you are a Pro member. You can switch it off under the Pantheon topic.

The figures come from the game's own content. Balance updates can move some numbers; the rules themselves are as written here.
