Beta and feedback

ENOMOTIA is in beta: you can play it, but it isn't finished. The BETA mark beside the game's name in the top bar opens the page where you can send us suggestions and bug reports.

What beta means

The game grows a little every week: new buildings, new rules, new screens and fixes. As it grows we tune some of its numbers, so what a building costs, how strong a unit is or how long a job takes may change. What's new, in the game settings, explains what changed and when.

Writing to us

You write from the form in the middle of the BETA page. First you choose what it's about: Suggestion, Bug or Something else. A message can't be too short or too long; the form counts your characters and shows the limit.

If you're reporting a bug, say what you were doing, what happened and what you expected. Those three are the quickest way for us to see the bug too.

Adding pictures

A screenshot is often the quickest way to show a bug. The Add a picture button under your message lets you add a few pictures to it; the form says how many. On a phone the button opens your photos. On a computer you can paste a screenshot into the form, or drag a file and drop it on the form.

A picture appears straight away as a small preview and starts uploading; the bar under the preview shows how much of it has gone. To take a picture away, use the cross in its corner. If a picture can't be sent, the reason is shown under it, and your message goes without it.

Only the team making the game sees your pictures. The location, device and date details inside a photo are not kept. Pictures are kept for a while and then deleted on their own; the privacy policy says for how long.

What goes with your message

Your message arrives with: the world you were playing in, the screen you pressed BETA on, the game's version, the language you play in and a short description of your browser (browser, operating system, window size). All of it is listed under the form before you send, along with how many pictures you've added. Nothing else goes apart from those and your pictures. Only the team making the game reads your message.

Complaints about players

There is no limit on how many messages you can send; only if you send many in a very quick row does the form make you wait a few seconds. But this page is for ideas and bugs: if you want to complain about another player (insults, cheating, names, chat), don't write it here. Use Report player on their page or in chat, and moderators will see it and act on it. A message written here is read by the team that makes the game and does not lead to action against a player.

Replies

We read every message and reply to some. When we do, a line appears in Activity under the bell; if you're a Pro member it also comes as a notification. The messages you've sent, their state and the whole of our replies are at the bottom of the BETA page.

The figures come from the game's own content. Balance updates can move some numbers; the rules themselves are as written here.
